This composite was made to illustrate a journal announcement as well as a very short story that I wrote further to the publication of Anna’s Eternal Sorrow , my collaboration work with the talented author, Lily Munroe .

Photo of a cemetary shot last summer, used as a background. Notice the bit of blown out sky in the right upper corner Used the right upper corner to correct the bit of blown out sky in the background photo Made a shot of myself, dressed as Anna, and reading the newspaper. Lots of layers with this same shot, lots of work done to it, like orton, masking, blending, etc. This foggy river softened the background a bit and gave a slight blueish glow Anna needed some kind of aura, so this is it

    Thank you Sister! It took me some time to get an idea for this presentation… I received the newspaper over two week ago, and could think of anything interesting to do with it. Then, bingo! It just came to me suddenly while I was in the shower. Don’t know why, inspiration so often comes in the shower. Must be the cleansing and therapeutic effect of water… :-)
