Hive

What are the objects that one might use when watching the tube? Or the other thing that they might be doing at the same time?

Having something to drink is the first thing that comes to mind.

And besides the beverage by itself, we often use straws!

This is a macro of a bundle of drinking straws, aimed at the TV. The gray and red colours are from the Montreal Canadian hockey game!

This is part of a little experimental series I’m doing on the television screen seen through various objects used in the living room.

I love this Johanne! My favourite so far I think :) I love those little dabs of colour coming through from the TV screen!

  • Johanne Brunet replied

Thank you Ursula! I have another one a little more vivid red, but I’m keeping it for myself to hang in our living room, with a red version of the beer bottle too!

Fantastic imagery! Really creative and artistic!!! Beautiful work Johanne!

  • Johanne Brunet replied

Thank you Blair! I have it in shades of blue too, but I did not have the time yet to clone out the dozens of tiny specks of lint (can’t figure out where they come from), as they were only on the straws images, and the package was brand new.

Fabulous and very imaginative. I like it so much.

  • Johanne Brunet replied

Thank you Sister! I have other versions in a brighter red and in blue as well, but I’m still debating whether I will put them up here. There a lot of cloning out to do, with all the little fibers that got stuck at the end of the straws. The blue ones are very yummy though…
