Old Fashioned Charm in the Mist

Old Fashioned Charm in the Mist

At a 20-minute walk from my house and one of my favourite spots in my hometown, the Maison Melançon was built in 1787 on the south shore of Montreal, on the actual site of the Parc de la Promenade in Candiac. The town council has decided to buy it in 1968, and to use it as a meeting place for a ski-doo club and as a community center.

This beautiful ancestral house has now become the local arts and culture center.
