On The Path to Hope
The light is where you choose to see it…
The original “path” was far from luminous with hope. It was scary and creepy. I chose to see my path in a different way, and now I can look towards light and joy.

Wow! This is fabulous, Johanne! So creative and imaginative! I love it!
Johanne Brunet replied
Thank you Blair! You would be surprised at how dark and creepy the original photo is… :-)
Johanne Brunet replied
Oh, and thank you for favoriting this work! :-)
Blair Wainman
This is the beauty of artistic interpretation, we can choose to see what we want! Ironic is that life is like that too! Sometimes life looks like a dark path if we choose to see it that way! Well done, Johanne!
Kory Trapane
It’s absolutely fantastic, Johanne!
Johanne Brunet replied
Thank you Kory! You might perhaps remember this entry?

Beautiful picture Johanne. Very surreal! (Note to self: Experiment more!) :-)
Johanne Brunet replied
Hey George, glad to see you! Thank you for your comment, and yes, by all means do experiment; it’s so much fun!
Victoria Kidgell
Wow! What a beautifully creative shot! Very nice PP on this one. You have turned it into a very soft delicate picture.
Johanne Brunet replied
Thank you Torstar! I’m glad that you like its softness. The original image was made to enter a spooky competition, and I wanted to present the other side of it… :-) Seems that it worked!

It’s lovely Johanne – shows how you can change something ordinary into “extra”Ordinary – I love the tones and colours all of it!
Johanne Brunet replied
Thank you Pamela, it was a fun experience to do. I’ll probably try some more of that Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde type of processing.
