Recent good fortune has enabled me to do something I did not think I could do for a very long time – get a better camera. Gone (well not really, I am keeping it for some things) is the crappy 8 megapixel Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS80. I am now the proud owner of a 10.2 megapixel Sony ax200 DSLR with two lenses – one 18 – 70mm, the other 75 – 300mm!
I read a review for it where the review described it’s awesome combination of features and quality for the price “frightening”. So when I saw it in the shop with the double lense kit, it stuck in my mind and kept nagging at me and nagging at me. And once I get an idea in my head I need to follow it up or it drives me mad. Well, madDER.
So tomorrow if the weather proves fair I shall sling my new friend into the padded backpack I bought and venture out to the coast, and deliver you more of the same scenery you love, only looking a hell of a lot better :)

Good for you man!!! Took me forever to buy an Dig SLR….when I did it was the best thing I could have done….now to get a 5D and a 24-70mm for my concert stuff. Have fun with it and just shoot whats around you…you are sooo lucky to be where you are!!!!! Take advantage…I live in a desert,…how much can you shoot the same stuff over and over….I just uploaded some new stuff….

Ummm…yeah!!! I still dont know everything yet either and have had mine for two years…I am self taught too. I am taking workshops to learn lighting techiques and I need to learn so much more but ya know we are doin pretty good for what we do right now!!! Just give us some time and learing….we will go far!!!! More stuff to come…I have some nudes to post so get rid of your filter if you wanna see em…..lol!!! So cool to meet you!!!
