Artist's Description

This bridge spans the river Liffey right in the heart of Dublin. It was built in the UK in the 1800’s. Prior to the opening of the bridge there was a ferry that took people across the Liffey at this point, the charge was a ha’penny the same charge that was introduced to cross the new toll bridge.
