Stairway to Heaven
The Wood Family Farmhouse was built in 1866. Some time after the civil war the family lost all their investments and sold the home and farmland to the Harris family. The last occupant, Mrs. Harris passed away in the house in the late 1970’s, and the house has been left alone ever since.

Wow!! Great history and I love the shot! It’s a shame the house has been left to rot.
Joel Hall replied
Yeah it is a shame, but it made a great photoshoot :) Thanks for the comment and visit Leslie! :)
Michele Conner
Wow, that processing is incredible? Can you do that in Photoshop Elements? Nice angle on the stairs there… good eye, I didn’t see that when I was there.
Joel Hall replied
Michele, I use Photomatix to do the initial HDR, then use the Redynamix plugin for Photoshop, which is also available for Elements. So yes, you shouldn’t need Photoshop to do this :)
Philip Johnson
Great shot , but can you do me a favour and add some information on the HDR process, things like , handheld or tripod, how many exposures if you have the setting even better, what software was used. That way I can accept into HDR Photography group
Regards
Philip
Joel Hall replied
Thanks Philip, will do!
