Most people guess a cross between a cocker and a st. bernard,,,but he was pure english clumber spaniel.

He was slightly higher than your knees at his back….he weighed about 90 pounds. This breed is the largest of the spaniels.

Actually it was a he,,,,he left us about 2 years ago now…..he was a grandson of the dog who won Crufts, England a few years ago.

He was, we had to put him down 3 years ago.

He’s adorable. He looks so sad though..lol I am so sorry you had to put him down though. I know how hard that is. I’ve lost a few animals and had to have 3 put down myself….but the last one was my Cosmo 3 years ago….She was the hardest I’ve ever had to put down. She was only 5 and she was MY dog. We were very close (weird relationship is what my hubby used to call it..lol). We would hold hands at night to put her to sleep. lol I have a shot of that in my gallery. So I do know it can be hard and I’m sorry when anyone has to go thru it. He is adorable though. Looks like a big dog too!
