Hi. I’m Joe Calleri, an award-winning Australian fine art photographer.

My images reflect a profound statement by Japanese Artist and Photographer, Hiroshi Sugimoto: “Art Resides Even In Things With No Artistic Intentions”. Anything around me can be beautiful. It all depends on how I look at the object. Each day I challenge myself to find beauty and fine detail in the every day, the innocuous, and in the small things that others may ignore, step over or around, overlook or perhaps take for granted.

My exciting, colourful and dramatic images have been exhibited in Australia, the United Kingdom, and in the United States. My theatre publicity images have featured in The Age, The Herald Sun, MCV and Real Time. I trained at the Australian College of Photography, Art and Communication (ACPAC) in the early 1990’s. And, I am a current member of the Australian Institute of Photography (AIPP).
