Profile
I graduated as a Textile Designer and started my career as a blanket designer. I have left a successfull career as a senior carpet designer in 2000 to pursue my first love which is fine art. My preferred medium is acrylics on canvass and my work ranges from expressive paintings of animals, inspired by my native South Africa, to delicate floral paintings. I like dramatic, strong vibrant colours with dramatic backgrounds. I love to look at subjects by using extreme magnification. I had very successfull exhibitions in Auckland, New Zealand and Perth Australia.
