with a rack like that the wolves bears and mountain lions had better watch out!! nice shot… and in your yard too!!! there were 40 you say, thats a lot of poop!!! any use as fertilser?

too true…we do have mountain lion come down into our valley after animals, so far none in my yard, only coyotes!

Your backyard sounds more like a zoo!!! I can’t imagine what it must be like to wake up and see so many incredible animals out of your window! – deer, coyotes, bears, mountain lions, barn owls, etc!! Amazing!!!
Don’t delete this shot, I like it. Just because the quality is not so good, doesn’t mean it is a bad photo. I think it’s great how they are looking straight at you.

haven’t seen the bear or mountain lion in my yard yet…never hope to either…they can stay in the mountains if you ask me!!

Ha…he’s not really that big, just the rack he carries is pretty intimidating! He always looks that way when I shoot his picture, I have many….the herd is camped out about a mile away from my house. I’d have to creep in to get some more shots though!

Hmmm, I use a Kodak Easyshare for all my shots, point and shoot, auto most of the time, this guy and his entire 40 head herd were in my back yard, about 20 feet from my back door! thanks for stopping by!

If Mulies are anything like whitetails, you’re in an amazing situation. Most of the time, all you would see of a buck like this is his tail waving bye at you as he ran away. I just want to know if I can come camp out in your back yard. I’ll bring my Pentax and not my Browning. lol

ha….Pentax yes, Browning no…we have a game warden that lives across the road from us. Gave a guy 5 years for shooting an Elk out of season, he means business!
