I don’t know what this is for apart from my own amusement. It is a small metal grill that sits atop of some wooden posts in a walkway. Not all of the posts have them, only some.

Now, i like this. I have a pic of an old grater, but not macro like this…..I like yours alot better.

  • Thanks – this isn’t actually a grater, rather a piece of grater-like metal atop a wooden post. Perhaps we should just look in the kitchen for inspiration – lol!

It is the type of plate often used to join two pieces of wood together. Could there have been a horozontal member running between the vertical ones at any time? Sorry about the mention of horizontal members.

Well it’s pretty funny with the bare bottom looking at me like that. MyBubble page seems to have all these bottoms pointing at me – LOL!

No it doesn’t appear to have been joined in any way, perhaps to preserve the post?

Well, it’s a good thing that all the bare bottoms aren’t in contact with “Grated” Interesting object and neat pic. Sandy

  • You are too funny! Thank you.

Well all I can say is that I am glad toilet paper is not made like this for the bare bums. Nice macro Jodie, lol. Nick x

    I second that!
You must have bare bottoms all over your MyBubble too since our mate Nick has changed his pic!

  • Thanks Peggy, glad you like the shot. It seems to be taking second place to Figureman’s new pic though – LOL!

What an excellent abstract – works so well in B&W.

  • Thanks so much, glad you like the b/w. I think it adds to the pic.
