It rains

Posted over 2 years ago

As much as I am loving the much needed rain in Melbourne town – a sun shower (or even sun storm) would be great.
The gloominess that surrounds me out the window is making me crazy.

Keep it wet – but shine the light….before I lose all inspiration

Lost Colours

Posted over 2 years ago

I have noticed with the last few images I have uploaded that
I am losing a lot of colour, saturation and over all oomf
in my shots when I view them in my Portfolio.

This is worrying for me because I don’t think my shots are getting
reflected correctly in my portfolio…

Trading places

Shall I swap my car for a new camera?

I thought my decision was made on what camera to get- but events of the last week have changed many things, and to swap something I don’t need for something I would love might be the way to go.

I will make my final decision on Tuesday – today I will do some maths and investigation .. look out shops here I come!

Where is the water

Posted over 2 years ago

I have really noticed the harshness of the land over the last couple of weeks.
Visiting central Victoria – there was hardly any green to be seen.

Over Easter the coast was a little greener but there was still a lot of evidence of the drought – with Erskine falls (Lorne) almost only a trickle.

I hope it rains soon – let the rain colour my world.

Seeing the world differently

Posted over 2 years ago

5 weeks in and i feel like I am seeing the world differently…

Is it that my eyes are more open or am I just more aware of what is around me? A bit of both I expect.

It is an enjoyable experience so far – although I am not all that happy with my images. I can see changes in my shots and my thought process is far different than only 4 weeks ago.

It certainly is interesting
