This photograph was taken at Hooker Valley, in New Zealand (south island). This location is very close to the famous Mt Cook. The water is such an impressive colour due to a glacier near by. I loved this area so much and recommend it as a place to visit!

Photography is my ‘passion’. I studied it in years 11 and 12, where I learned how to processes films in the dark room. Since then, my photography was restricted to digital compacts until I was able to afford an DSLR in 2010.

Until recently I had been doing a PhD in Agricultural Science at the University of Tasmania. I have recently decided that a career in science is not going to make me happy, so I am now studying graphic design.
