This photograph was taken of my friend Angela, at a place called Hollybank in Tasmania (Australia). It is a forest of mixed trees where people can come and enjoy picnics and barbecues. In Autumn the light shines through in the form of beautiful golden beams.

Photography is my ‘passion’. I studied it in years 11 and 12, where I learned how to processes films in the dark room. Since then, my photography was restricted to digital compacts until I was able to afford an DSLR in 2010.
Until recently I had been doing a PhD in Agricultural Science at the University of Tasmania. I have recently decided that a career in science is not going to make me happy, so I am now studying graphic design.
