Photography is my ‘passion’. I studied it in years 11 and 12, where I learned how to processes films in the dark room. Since then, my photography was restricted to digital compacts until I was able to afford an DSLR in 2010.

Until recently I had been doing a PhD in Agricultural Science at the University of Tasmania. I have recently decided that a career in science is not going to make me happy, so I am now studying graphic design.

Wow – a true stunner! Its a fantastic spot, Lake St. Clair, I’ve only ever been once about two years ago and would love to go back! Have you done the walk where you take the ferry out and walk back to the campsite via the Overland Track? Must be one of the wettest days ever when I did it but it was also one of the best day walks I have ever done! A beautiful place, congrats on your fantastic shot too! The colours are great! A sure fave :)

  • Thank you for your lovely comment Matt! It did make me realise that I have given this lake the wrong name in the photo, it was actually lake Pedder! Its amazing that I could make such a mistake, but I am glad I have fixed it now. I have not yet done the overland track but have been on a walk at Cradle Mountain. I would love to explore this area further, its so beautiful!
