This is one of the buildings that comprise what remains of the Larundel mental asylum in Melbourne. Living in Tasmania, I have only been there once and will unlikely be able to visit again as the buildings are soon to be demolished to make way for a housing development. I was inspired to try a lens zoom for this photograph by the work of Steph Hall. I found her work on Red Bubble and as I liked it so much, I too went to the Larundel Asylum to do some photography. She was very helpul with directions and advice and this to me was a perfect example of how lovely the RB community is!
