This photograph was taken at Willow Court (Tasmania, Australia).
Willow Court is is an asylum that was abandoned in the year 2000. Like the Royal Derwent, it is also in the town of New Norfolk. However, this part of the large complex is much older and dates back to 1827. For information on the interesting history of Willow Court, follow this link:
This paticular photograph was taken in Ward C, which was used to contain and look after violant male patients. This ward has a reputation for being haunted. For related stories, follow this link:
