Photography is my ‘passion’. I studied it in years 11 and 12, where I learned how to processes films in the dark room. Since then, my photography was restricted to digital compacts until I was able to afford an DSLR in 2010.

Until recently I had been doing a PhD in Agricultural Science at the University of Tasmania. I have recently decided that a career in science is not going to make me happy, so I am now studying graphic design.

    G’day JOCELYN!

    Such moving imagery!!!
You have done an excellent job in creating an image filled with a sense of the forlorn, of abandonment, of sadness,
That these items are still hanging there gives this fine B&W a wonderful sense of humanity even without the informative narrative.
The photograph displays lovely tonality, contrast and highlights with very good use of light.
