Photography is my ‘passion’. I studied it in years 11 and 12, where I learned how to processes films in the dark room. Since then, my photography was restricted to digital compacts until I was able to afford an DSLR in 2010.

Until recently I had been doing a PhD in Agricultural Science at the University of Tasmania. I have recently decided that a career in science is not going to make me happy, so I am now studying graphic design.

If I rounded the bend and looked down the stairs and saw this, I would be running so fast in the other direction, but only after throwing my camera behind me as I bolted. ;) Fantastic.

  • Thank you for your comment. The place was quite scary. I was there with two other people, but would not even think about going on my own. We came home after the photoshoot and did some more reasearch, in which we read that someone saw a ghost on that stair case. I dont think I will be going back now!

Thanks for the read looks a great place to wander

  • Thank you for posting this. Ward 7 looks really interesting, only it has been demolished so sadly I cannot explore that one. People are actually living in one of the wards, I really cant believe it!
