Jobie knows all about good manners; however, there are some foods that are simply impossible to eat with your mouth closed! Corn shucks are Jobie’s favorite food within this category. The problem with corn shucks is that they sort of hang out a bit while they are going in! The obvious solution is to teach others the appropriate way to eat corn shucks (appropriate being “Jobie’s way”) and to simply savor them without worrying about small technicalities like manners.! Jobie’s full instructions to his Grandma on the proper method of eating corn shucks are included in his book, “Dear Grandma . . . Love, Jobie: Letters from a Black Angus Terrier”.

This picture was taken in Miles City, Montana on the northeast side of town (technically in the county as city limits ended across the street) when Jobie was residing there. Jobie is technically a Black Angus bull, but believes he is a person or a dog so prefers to be referred to as a Black Angus Terrier.

Jobie is a real life testament to the power of believing you can grow up to be anything you want to be. At 4, he was a model for Crocs knee pads on eBay and, at 5, he published his first book, Dear Grandma . . . Love, Jobie: Letters from a Black Angus Terrier, and was a winner on Red Bubble! No one that spends time with Jobie ever looks at the world in quite the same way again! All of Jobie’s photographs are taken in or just outside of Miles City, Montana—the place he calls home!
