Jobie knows all about holidays, including the Fourth of July one that many people celebrate! He knows that many people go on picnics and eat watermelon. The other thing many people seem to enjoy is fireworks. Jobie has studied the matter (especially the watermelon part) quite carefully! He knows, without doubt, that the watermelon is, by far, the best part of the holiday! Fireworks are bright and lovely, but they simply aren’t very tasty—not to mention they are a tad noisy and, when unexpected, disturb peaceful digestion! One must have their priorities in order in life! As such, Jobie has decided that it should really be called Watermelon Day so that everyone remembers to focus on Jobie’s real priority! Happy Watermelon Day!
This photo was taken at Jobie’s current residence just outside of Miles City, Montana. Jobie is technically a Black Angus bull, but prefers to be referred to as a Black Angus Terrier—his own special breed.
