Jo . . . I really love the depth you’ve created in this painting. The colors are vibrant and enhance the texture. Personally, I can see a city by water with boats and a bridge. Did you have something/somewhere as an inspiration, or did the painting evolve spontaneously?

Hi Cathy….. Thank you for your lovely comments. Actually this painting was totally spontaneous. I pictured a sunset in my mind and went from there. I wasn’t even sure what an “abstract” sunset would look like…but this is it…at least to me…lol….
