Hey thanks for all the comments guys n gals. I must confess though that I did have the motordrive running at the time AND had to remove the birds handler from the image. So timing is not something I can really take credit for.
I can highly recommend shopping around locally to see if you have raptor keepers or parks that conduct public flights. Pick a bright overcast day, set the camera to action/sports etc and go for it. You’ll love the results.
