There once was a little white girl
with a golden curl
Playing with her toys
filled with joy.

Another little girl saw her
she thought it looked like fun
But she remembered her mamma’s words
“If you see a white person, run.

For the little girl was black
so sadly she turned her back
" Will you play with me?"said the little white girl,
“I’,m very lonely!”

So the little black girl ran across the street
Not thinking the white girls father to meet.

But to her surprise,
when she opened her eyes
There was a man looking at her.
She replied,“Hello Sir”.

The man looked very mean
when he shouted
“Get out of here nigger,
before I pull the trigger!”

She then knew her mothers words were true
no matter what you do
some people will attack
just because your black!
