It looks beautiful in the frame…bravo Joanne!!!
so beautiful!fantastic light and colours
great composition and light… just wonderful !
Beautiful rich image, Joanne!
What a fascinating lamp! And love the composition that compares the differences between the two subjects; in shape, colour, and natural vs. man-made. The numbers are almost the same too!
Thanks for all the observations Mui-Ling! The lamp, picked up at a flea market a few years back, has a big black drum shade, you don’t see in this shot. I like unusual things and although it is probably the only thing from the 60’s in my house, I do have other items from different periods. The lamp is actually sitting on an antique Duncan Phyfe table that is folded down…
Lovely and elegant. The glass balls at the left work very well as a framing device.
just beautiful Joanne…
Great image … fantastic! …. :)
