Taken at Kempenfelt Bay, Lake Simcoe, Barrie, Ontario Canada on Monday June 2nd/08. Leaning over the docks I noticed this school of minnows that kept dispersing and rejoining in intricate patterns in the water. My husband did not think I should upload this to RB but I find it an interesting abstract of the underwater world.

What a wonderful image Joanne your hubby was wrong! Love the abstractness and the colors where they are lite by the sun!
I think this is really great. Love the framing, the colours and the abstractness. Well seen, well captures. Brilliant.
I really like it, it should go in the Abstract Realism group, I like the directional flow and the tones in the image. Very good shot Joanne! :)
Wasn`t exactly sure where it fit in. Thanks Anne, I just joined!

Shoals of fish make the most wonderful abstract patterns. This is a beaut!
Great title! Lovely pattern and flow to the image. Sometimes it’s worth uploading an image to get another opinion. You made the right decision.
Well I think you made a good decision…You husband was incorrect…
Mothere nature creating her own abstract…
