View From The Top
Taken at the 4000ft level of Mt Washington, part of the presidential range of the the White Mountain National Forest, New Hampshire USA on Saturday May 17th 2008. It was a beautiful day, but much colder at this level. The top additional 4000ft was closed to tourists due to weather conditions: ice and snow, but will open later in the season. All I could think of was John Denver’s song: Rocky Mountain High becaue that is exactly how I felt, exhilirated to be there. It is not the Rockies but the highest elevation I have been so far!
