Cliffhanger

Taken Saturday 10/05/08 with my new Nikon D40 in macro mode.
A candidate for Nature’s Macro Canvas, this is a tree stump that was hacked or partially broken off half way. It shows residue of sand and dust, as well as the wind and winter climate has resulted in a collection of debris and small pebbles along the lower part of the cut.
