Photography compels me to record the world as I see it, to express my delight in discovery every opportunity I get, and provides me with an outlet to communicate creatively. Each new day is a learning experience, and I look forward to the adventures presented, with my camera in hand. I don’t travel as much as I would like, but hopefully that will change in the next few years. In the meantime I find a variety of subjects near my home on the scenic north shore of Montreal, and in the province of Ontario where I visit family and friends on a regular basis.
Although I seldom reply individually to comments made on my work, I am deeply grateful for the time and consideration given and follow a policy of returning the favour by visiting each person’s site.
I am currently using a Nikon D40 purchased in May 2008, with two Nikkor lens: the standard 18-55mm and a Nikkor VR 55-200mm zoom acquired in January 2009. Older shots were taken with a Canon Powershot A75. I own a Minolta X-370 that I hope to begin experimenting with this summer.
