This originally was a picture of a rose that I shot last summer. I manipulated it for this graphic.
HOW TO DO IT:
1 Select the entire photo and go to filter/distort/ polar coordinates, click on polar to rectangular then click OK
2 copy and paste the selection into a new window.
3, Go back to the original photo and select the rectangle tool. Go to the upper menu by style and select fixed aspect ratio. Select a part of the photo you want.
4. go to filter/distort/polar coordinates/polar to rectangle, click okay.
5. Go to edit menu and click on transform, select 180º.
6. Go to filter/distort/polar coordinates/ rectangle to polar. Click Ok.
7 You should now have an amazing circle in the square. Go back to the rectangle tool and click on it at the popup you will see the circle tool. Put a circle around the circle in the square and copy and paste it. Paste it in the window that has the distored background. The circle will be a bit large, if you like it like that than place it where you want it by using the tool next to the rectangle too, it’s the tool that moves the selection.
If the circle is too big go under edit, select free transform, a square will be placed around the circle you can go to any corner and drag the selection to any size you want. Double click to set the tool.
That should do it. I copied and pasted several other little details to make a platform for my circles..
Good luck and most of all have fun.
Love And Peace
