Constantine’s Cave The view inside this very short sea cave where perhaps Constantine, King of Scots died from wounds in 874 after a long running battle with Viking raiders. At that time the Scots were only just establishing control over the whole country and it seems that Constantine fell pray to the divisions inside his kingdom and army, and paid the ultimate price.
