Ah, Joak. What a lovely capture of your beloved Millie. I lost my collie Sandy a week ago Monday. We are so sad at her loss. She was only 8, but had lymphoma. She lost 17 pounds in 6 weeks. It was devastating.

Thanks, Joak. We at least got to spend a couple of days with her to tell her goodbye. I delivered her when she was born. My collie Tansy had a litter of 8 (I still have Tansy). Sandy was so unusually intelligent and sweet, that we ended up keeping her. She was a big, beautiful sable-and-white collie. I’ll try to upload a picture of her—when I’m able to look at them.

Lovely story to go with this dreamy shot. I really like the way she is looking up the beach towards that light. The story fits so well. I had a cat when I was a kid, accompanied me through many a scrape until he died aged 18. He’s still around and visited me this week in fact:-)
