I like the effect of the light on the fall. Nice exposure. There’s a bit of the blur on the leaves which is a nice effect. I’m guessing you were on a long (ish) exposure and there was a slight breeze? The framing is great and it’s really moody. You’ve a good eye.But then I don’t know much I just close my eyes and shoot.

Great shot Joak !!!! ( re the focus issue. depth of field and the contrast in the light seem to me to be the thing of the shot. To get a greater depth of field, close down the aperture ( bigger the number the smaller the aperture ) and slow the speed down to get the same exposure. If you are using a auto that is aperture dominated, slow the speed of the shot down. If speed dominated close the aperture down. If using a complete auto, set it on scene. Probably help using a tripode if you are using a slow speed film…..... If your not confused, I am….

Great shot – dont worry about the focus – its fine the way it is

The hiding place of the true stone of destiny Joak. I guess you tried to focus on the water which as its moving would have been difficult for the auto focus. Try & focus on the plants nearest to the waterfall & with the shutter button depressed half way recompose the shot before you fully release the shutter button. You can select the focus point manually depending on your camera too.

This is very magical and so moody with the lit up waterfall. A very special feel to this. As far as focus, I’m gonna guess you have a point and shoot camera, which for shot like this you are screwed. the autofocus wants to catch in focus what is moving which is the leaves in front and the water in back. Unless you can manually focus and shut the autofocus off not even a tripod would help then. Oh well, you can always ask your rich uncle to get you a DSLR for Christmas HA HA.
