I absolutely LOVE this.. and so glad they didn’t ‘flatten’ it… and I think it’s terrific that it’s haunted… !! Would you escort me there if I were in Scotland, Joak? I could hide beneath yer kilt if it gets too frightful, eh?
adgray, 2 months ago
I’m with Lavender! Take me too! Take me too! :o)
Although I’m not afraid of ghosts … but it would be fun [oops] warm hiding :o)
And yeah why do they always want to flatten buildings? Imagine if they did it to all the old buildings! We’d never have the gorgeous ruins that we have today :o)
and all the new things they shove up in a couple of months just collapse at the first gust of wind! Shiesh! Will man never learn! <(
Keep Happy gorgeous man :o)

I would be checking with historical architects on this house. The pillars at the gate are very Freemason? glad they didn’t destroy it, history like this is great, sad about the lady, maybe she hated trimming the grass.
joak in reply to JohnScott’s comment, 2 months ago
apparantly she got caught wi some young guy an her husband imprisoned her in a room at the top o the hoose

Yes, I have a picture of old building left abandoned here in Asbury Park and remember them in their full glory when I was a child. It seems governments should be thinking more of their heritage, and restoring these lovely buildings. But they seem more interested in spending their $ on wars and other destructive things than this.
