shot this with my iPhone. I jam with these guys, were the crew i think, i think i am the most serious aobut it, but it is great to be among younger people and having some fun, We run this system all 80,000 watts of it, and thats just the subs, i think we peak at about 150,000, when we jam, watch out we stack 3 double 18’s behind Jay our drummer, and use in ear monitors we really rock, next week when we jam again. i will take pictures i hope. I will watch the buzz,,,LOL
I now enjoy music, and art. I am shooting all over the place, i am working on the fine art we all enjoy, occasional photo journalism. Now i am going to shoot every thing and have a great time. tell me if you like this stuff, i am going to post a few and bury them at the bottom of my uploads, so if you want to see more go to the end. Then tell me what you think.
hey how are ya, thanks mindy… i am glad you like it. i am open to suggestions if you have any… i was told once that a good photographer can take a great picture with a cell phone, well i was at work and though to shoot my buddies, during the show. I got some flack about pulling out the Nikon, so i used the phone on this one. now that dont want me to put it away… Thank you so much…
I really like the how the lighting plays into this image and the fact you took it with a phone makes it even more amazing!!! Great work!~

great shot of front of house…
love the lighting! — mari
thanks mari, that is the monitor position at a show we did. i shot it with my iphone, i was getting too much risistance with my camera, so.. i am glad you like the picture.
What a fun shot! Love the lighting. And that you can still see the glow on the sound board (looks like a sound board anyway). Nice!
yes it is. a Midas console .. can be front of house or monitors.. here it is set up for monitors at the Hofstra playhose… i dig the lights too on the board and the amps and the EQ’s :)
It’s a great shot. Takes me back a bit… :) Best part about the lighting is… they blind you so you can’t see how big the crowd is.. or isn’t, as the case may be… LOL! Perfect for nerves ;)
LOL That is funny.. seems the bigger the crowd the easier it is for me to talk to them. a small crowd is much harder cause they really examine you and you see them twitch and stuff.
