    Fantastic image. The strong silhouette works really well against the background colours and the figure in the lookout is a great touch! The composition is spot on.

    Thanks Glenn and Kathleen! Yes, this is Tasmania – Mt Wellington Lookout. There are a lot of different images of this lookout that I’ve discovered since taking the photo. It’s a rather dominant looking feature on the mountain, but it does capture the interest.

    There is a lot to like about this image, for all of the above mentioned reasons.
    However, for those who haven’t been to this location, it could appear that the (transmission) tower is situated in a somewhat awkward position.
    I know that there is some considerable distance between them, it just looks a little odd.

    Cool is right! Bloody cold when we were there recently – Snowed on us too which was cold but rather unique since I live in Sth Australia.
