This Sumatran Tiger is one of two brothers at the WHF in Kent. This friendly welcome wasn’t for me but someone else stood conveniently close by.

The WHF is a charity, please visit their website and support their invaluable work.

There are as few as 400 Sumatran tigers left in the wild, and they’re under relentless pressure from illegal poaching and forest clearances.

Sept 11 2010 – Congratulations on your feature! Hope you were using a long zoom LOL! :)

  • Thanks for the feature, although this was taken with a 200mm lens, at times the cats were close enough to feel their breath on your face.
