This was taken at the Ho Chi Minh museum in Ha Noi, Vietnam.
The lines to get into the museum are enormous everyday, as the locals go multiple times a month.
This was completely candid. I think it really portrays the attitude and adoration the locals have towards Ho Chi Minh

Fantastic capture! Was photography allowed in the museum?
    Congratulations no your feature, too!

  • Thanks heaps Marjolein!
Yes, photography was definitely aloud in this part of the museum. A lot of the other parts of the museum and it’s surrounds were off limits for photography though. It was so strict that you had to hand your camera to security before you go in.

Oh, that explains my confusion! I was there once, but it’s a long time ago (1994) – I did remember ‘photography not allowed’ but not that it was allowed in some areas! Or maybe it was different then. Time to return… :)

  • Haha yes, any excuse to return will do! Such an incredible country!
