I am an Australian artist living in Mt Gambier, South Australia. I only started painting bird paintings about 4 years ago and love it. I also started becoming interested in photography as a means to get subjects to paint. I get great satisfaction from taking a photo of an Australian bird in its native environment and then using this as a reference to paint from.
