plein air oil painting on canvas, 24×30 inches, 2012
I am a Russian oil painter, working plein air in oil and oil pastels. I was immensely influenced by French and American impressionists, Monet, Renoir, Hassam, Roninson, Cassat, Henry Hensche. I took classes with Lois Griffel, former director of Cape Cod School of Art in Provincetown, MA, USA in 2001. Since then i have been working plein air doing landscapes and outdoor still life. My works are in colletions in Russia, Canada, Italy and USA.
