The old Sheepwash bridge from around the 17th century is a narrow packhorse bridge, over the River Wye at Ashford in the Water, Derbyshire. There is also an stone enclosure which was used as a pen for holding sheep prior to being washed in the river.
This bridge is on an old packhorse route known as The Portway .
