Postcard perfect shot JK, it really just shouts ‘Amsterdam’. The strange (South African?) colors on the boat add to the reflection in the water, which is perfect as it stands out against any other reflection. Then the bikes and the lone pedestrian on the sidewalk, beautifully timed. Great work.

Magnificent shot! I love the boat and the reflections in the water, and the little lady trudging along the walk. What drew me to click on this however was the building fronts. I saw a Vermeer exhibit when it was visiting the National Gallery in Washington, DC, and one brilliant painting that remained etched in my brain was of a brick-front building very similar to these. Well done.
