Zodoende!) :)

Stunning architectural shot James; love the fantastic textures, those beautiful and graceful lines of the windows, and the dramatic and strong lines of the structures…...I am seeing something in the foreground that I can’t decide on what it is…....rather a ghostly figure and fits in well with the old architecture. Your exposure is wonderful; well done!

  • J.K. York replied

joyce, those ghostly figures were a group of people walking through the frame during the long exposure. thanks!

Fantastic! Because mine aren’t a patch on yours – I think I was too excited at taking all the sights and sounds in, so my photos are nothing more than happy snaps – which really don’t do a justice the great place. ;)

What a great old church! Lovely shot and lighting – where the dark sky meets the church is reminiscent of quilting or patchwork stitching with that lovely zig-zag pattern cutting across the photo. I think it’s the lighting on the little sculptured pieces that line the edges of the façade that make it look like fancy stitch-work, sewing the edges of the building and the sky together.
