I love both of your moon shots. Again, I covet your 600! You are inspiring and talented. I wish Red Bubble could set up some type of mentoring thing. I nominate you!
PS- the Finnish word for February is “helmikuu”, meaning Pearl Moon. It certainly was last night at moon rise- it was bitter cold here & the moon was huge & clear.

thank you for posting this.. i was going to take photos of this as well but clouds were everywhere as i’m in north florida/lower alabama and the weather was definitely not helpful in watching the eclipse. anyway, this is absolutely amazing.. perfectly done.

thanks everyone, wow, very kind and generous compliments. as many of you have said the clouds were a problem for you. well, they cleared here at the last minute after i put a call in to the Man Upstairs. He must be a photographer!

I love it! I was able to watch it from my back deck but didn’t have a powerful enough lens to capture it. Beautiful crystal clear night here in NY (lucky us) but, also quite chilly, so you must’ve been bundled up! Maybe when it happens again in 2010 I’ll have the lens to get it :) Wonderful compilation!
