I like this capture, there is a lot of character to it. Plus I happen to like tobacco stores…you don’t see many nowdays.

Yup, I think this works. Very often, one’s favorites are not the most technically perfect. That’s photography.

“not the best technically” – have to disagree :) it’s a wonderful image. these days, people are too obsessed with getting the ‘perfect’ image. if you ask me, half the time ‘perfect’ = ‘sterile’. fantastic point of view :)

like this James…. not as much as i like the hat!! all those pipes, smoking being band everywhere now these shops have all gone.

I absolutely adore B&W’s they just resonate inside somehow so it’s no surprise that i gravitated towards this image which i think is brilliant…so natural and nostalgic!

Maybe in your eyes not the best technical work, but sometimes it’s more important to capture the character and you have certainly done this

Love this, as a pipe smoker you just can’t find shops like this any more unfortuneately. :)
