I love the look on the man’s face, kind of begrudging, yet it looks like the dog’s going to get his treat! Wonderful colors and composition.

Excellent composition, J.K. Grapette, Chesterfields, an old guy in bib-overalls (and check out his new sneakers), capped off with a hungry mutt. Very rural scene. I wonder how this would look in B&W, but it might become too busy – the color does help the eye wander about through the scene. Nice work, my friend! Shots like these make me homesick..for “easy livin” ( Tennessee born – yankee transplant). I like this a lot. Its getting more rare to find these great timewarps in the South. I am glad you did this in color, the color still has an easy subdued and aged effect . Nice work you have some great material. to work with. It makes me want to go back to my ole southern roots.

Great shot JK, although I confess to being stuck on the “Chesterfield Best For You Sign”. Cigarette advertising has been banned in Australia for many years and I’m always a little bemused and a little shocked by the wording (lies) used in promoting cigarettes. We just don’t see them here anymore, the old Marlboro Man on his horse and even our very own Paul Hogan telling us to “anyhow, have a Winfield”.
