this is just unbelievably good. everything about this is excellent. i like how her right hand and arm are blurred in movement lends real time to it like life. wonderful work, a truly exceptional piece of art.

This is just SO FAR BEYPOND photography. This is an absolute masterpiece of subtle color, excellent and compelling subject, superior lighting and mood. YOu are an absolute MASTER. This is one of the finest photographs in existence.

Such a wonderful warm feel to this beautiful image James; the low light is perfect…..still light enough to bring out the wonderful textured walls; this has a very Americana feel to it, lots of character, very reminiscent of an old Masters painting….....exquisite photography!

JK: You commented on my canon shot so I viewed some of your work. Talk about taking one to school; uour “Hat Maker” is as good of a photograph as I have seen on this site. In my world; only natural light paints the reality of life. This image nails the “thirds rule”, has gorgeous and soft colors, is tack sharp, and has excelent lighting on the lady’s face. This works well because of the dark background. By the way; I do shoot Canon; always have always will. And thank you for your service in the Marines. If ever we needed courageous warriors we do now.

Not only is this a wonderful picture but Mabry Mill’s is my favorite place. Being born and raised in Virgina it is a beautiful place to visit and a photographers dream to shoot any season of the year. I live in Florida now and am so homesick for my state. My heart is always there. Thanks for this shot and memory.
