The upheavel in this room is so poetic it evokes emotion. The haze on the windows add just the right amount of light through to cast perfect shadows and contrasts. Great eye.

One of the things I’m learning from this is to hold back on the focus. I think this shot works so well for me because of the sense of openness you get in the room. It’s empty. Fitting. If I’d been in that room, I probably would’ve been tempted to tighten in on the spacial field of the windows and chair. But that would’ve lost the effect.

This is a great one to study! Very nicely done.

This is a fantastic piece! I love the aspect of being left behind, but with the fresh light coming through the room is like stating a new found beginning for the chair or the final curtain highlighting it’s victim…..great work Mr. York.
