Olympus E-510. Zuiko 100mm. 1/80 f/8. an old bag of concrete mix left outside that set up. leaves and mulch on top of it released their tannins to give this its unique colors.

    I didn’t know that could happen to concrete mix! It almost looks like fish scales or something- the oily, rainbow-esque spread of color really makes it seem like that. Interesting shot bud.

    that oily look is the plastic moisture barrier that was the inside lining of the bag. it bonded to the concrete. thanks mate!

    Congratulations on having your work FEATURED on ABSTRACT LANDSCAPES.

    It’s a beautiful artifact, and looks like limestone cliffs in southern Nevada and Utah.
    Excellent photography, too. I have an Olympus E-500. It’s slow to write to the card, but it takes good photos.
